『心偈』12

12「嬉シ 悲シノ 六字カナ」

            柳宗悦『心偈』

It is joy and sadness, six latters,Namo Amitabha Buddha.

Speaking out the name of Buddha ”six letters" is supposed to receive undeserved pleasure.

Because it is expression of a merciful action to save ordinary person by Buddha in the easy way.

There is no other pleasure for ordinary person than participating it.

But if you feel only joy, it seems you can't speak out six letters still.

While speaking out six letters, we never don't forget our uncleanness.

The very painful sadness in the depth of joy takes the place of true joy.

Speaking out six letters must be the marriage of joy and sadness.

Joy of six letters are pouring out from sadness for sure.

A believer should be glad of gratitude that he is speaking out six letters.

While speaking out six letters we should know we are always with sadness at the same time.
