『心偈』37

「文アリテ 文ナキ 之ナン文」

            柳宗悦『心偈』

 

This is the pattern that there is a pattern and there isn't a pattern.

 

There are patterns as many as you like.

If it remains something it shows a pattern, it isn't a real pattern.

A pattern has a element to muji, solid color and then it is said that it is the pattern.

So when there is a pattern without a pattern, no pattern with a pattern , it is  a true pattern.

A pattern shouldn't be talkative and explanatory.

The pattern not included a depth of silence is a shallow pattern becoming unsteady.

And I can say the word, this poem as follows.

"A pattern without patterns is the pattern".

Tea sets are popular in most cases muji, solid color naturally.

But it isn't a mere denial.

All "mu"(nothing) include "being."

Instead of doing this, there are full of scene.

Pottery that changes color when fired is taken much for tea sets.

Because it shows much of state "mu" that included countless being.

And I say.

If you aim at pottery that changes color when fired, to the contrary you fall off a pattern with a pattern.

If you do it intentionally, you fall off a black magic.

This poem is originally written for an autograph of authentication that for the muji, solid color tea bowl made by Shoji Hamada.
