『心偈』39

「急ゲド　水ハ　流レジ　月ハ」

Water flow fast, the moon don't move.

Water flow very fast.

The moon is reflected brightly on the surface of the water.

Though water flow quickly, the moon don't move in a rapid stream and leave beautiful shape.

In former days Buddhist priests wrote poetry when they saw the scene of that. A rapid stream seems conflicts of the present life.  

All things must pass, they don't leave the same shape a while.

The moon that is reflected on a rapid stream don't move in it, the moon itself is a heart of free from obstacles.

It crosses with persons that don't cross them, it is punting the existence and doesn't sink it. That is only the shadow of the moon.

We saw the emancipation in the moon.
