『心偈』17

「南無阿彌陀佛　イトシヅカ」

 How silent Namo Amida Buddha is.

What is a lives that you devote yourself to the name of Buddha?

It is that you take a rest yourself eternity.

So what is called passions accepted quietness just as it is.

If you want to cut off passions, it will become a one of new passions and it will come back.

Leaving that aside you place yourself in the name of Buddha.

At that time A heart is decided, you are given quietness not to move in the changing inside. 

You don't have to be exaggerated Namo Amida Buddha and not to think about it.

Where is the meaning of six letters except from nothing has happened?

 In brief  lives of six letters is you are given to yourself into lives nothing has happened.

Before you reach here, even if you have any disturbance, the border of six letters is quiet. 

It is a matter of fact ordinary  just as it is.

At last six letters is coming back to quietness.

Some people says it is good for a high pitched voice and the act of chanting the name of Buddha million times, there isn't six letters in voice and numbers.

Quietness itself is the body of six letters.

補足

Namuamidabutsu (an invocation of the God Amida).

The six characters give tranquility and normalcy.
